Take Exit 6.
Turn right onto Route 163 (toward Oakdale).
Travel approximately 2.5 miles, turn left onto Chesterfield Rd. (opposite town landfill).
Go one half mile to intersection Chesterfield Rd./Old Colchester Rd.
Go straight and Tyl Middle School is on the left.

From HARTFORD VIA ROUTE 2:

Take Route 2 to Colchester
From Route 2 take Exit 19 towards New London (Route 11).
Turn left off the ramp onto Route 82 and go to Route 85 intersection (traffic light), turn right.
Go 3.8 miles to Chesterfield four corners (firehouse and traffic light), turn left onto Chesterfield Rd.
