Stop & Shop A+ Program

A+ School Rewards are points that supporters earn with each purchase made using their Stop & Shop Card. At the end of each month, the points earned are used in a calculation to determine your school's cash total, which is then automatically credited to your school's account.

Read to Ride is an organization that promotes reading through an incentive program. Students who read a set number of minutes per week earn tickets that go into a drawing for a bike, helmet, and lock. One boy and one girl in each grade level (kindergarten through 5th) will be selected in a drawing at the end of the school year. Read to Ride encourages students to exercise their mind and body through reading and exercising.

Mohegan Elementary School is participating in a very special community service program: the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart. Families help collect donations to benefit the American Heart Association and students are learning about "Heart Health and helping others." The event will culminate in February when all students will come to the gym at a specific time with their grade levels to enjoy jumping rope with their friends to help make their hearts healthy.
