Food Services
The Montville Schools Nutrition Program Office offers breakfasts and lunches to students and staff in each school. A variety of State Certified healthy snacks are also available at meal times as well as catering set ups by request. Meals meet age appropriate nutritional guidelines set by the State and Federal government. Families may apply to be approved for free and reduced rate breakfast and lunch by using a Family Meal Application, which is available in each school office or the school website. The director provides students and the school community with nutrition information and encourages suggestions for school meal options. The program works with the Uncas Health Department to ensure that healthy meals are being served in a safe cafeteria environment for the students of Montville.
